LFW catch up

I had a pretty stress free LFW last week purely because I was emotionally exhausted and wasn't feeling like myself. That led to me only attending about 3-4 shows instead of my planned 15.
Since I ditched a lot of the shows, I decided to wander down to the Apartment and caught up with some old faces that I have seen in ages and made some new friends over food and coffee.

I caught up with Natasha from Girl in the Lens and Ngoni from IAMNRC to see what was going on in their lives as it was about last August since I last saw the girls! Callum also hung out with us and took these lovely photos of us gals catching up. Thanks Callum!

Sanderson London

Chloe & I

So over fashion week I stayed at Sanderson London. I absolutely love the Morgans hotel group as they have such a chic and minimal aesthetic running through out all of their hotels. Last season I stayed at St Martins Lane and fell in love with it but thought I would try one of their other hotels situated on Berner's Street. It's such a perfect location for fashion week, about a 10 minute walk to Brewer Street car park and about 2 minutes to oxford circus!

Once I arrived at the hotel, I actually headed off to the Mad Hatters afternoon tea (which I already experienced before) with Missguided and caught up with a few other bloggers. Of course, I ate ALOT and couldn't wait to check into my room and have a little nap from the food baby I just created.

I opted for the deluxe room and I couldn't be more happier. I love my space and this room literally did not let me down. Since Chloe was staying with me as well I thought it would be perfect! We actually asked for a rail for our LFW pieces and we still had so much room. I love the lay out of the room too and how open the bathroom is. You can actually open the curtains to create a see-through room but we kept it closed as the shower room would of been exposed too! Oh and did I mention that there is literally such good lighting for selfies?!

Another reason I love staying at the Morgans hotel group chain of hotels is their service. The Sanderson did not not let me know either. I was treated as an adult - something that I don't experience much in places like these. It was just so refreshing to be greeted with a smile and such a happy ora. The staff are always so happy to help even when we did keep calling house keeping for more hangers! I really can't recommend this hotel enough. For anyone looking for such a genuine lovely experience - I highly recommend Sanderson London. If you have any further questions about this place let me know below and I'll try my best to accommodate!

I'm sure I'll be back real soon! Thank you Sanderson for looking after myself and Chloe!

Wrapping up warm!

One of my favourite outfits I wore for Berlin Fashion week! Was about -11 so I had to wrap up super warm! I think I was wearing about three layers and then added the scarf! I paired everything together with this classic Louis Vuitton clutch. Well, it's actually a toiletry pouch that I use as a clutch - such a great size and a classic piece! Also wore my Stan Smiths with EVERYTHING whilst in Berlin! We did walked quite a bit so it was my go-to choice of footwear.

Holiday wish list!

---------------------------------------------

I'm off back to LA in less than a month & then have Thailand 2 weeks after I get back so I'm already looking for pieces that are perfect for the sunshine. Not only that, I always try and find pieces that I can also wear all year round in the UK too (minus the shorts of course!). I'll be going to a lot of meetings in LA so wanted some pieces that would be suitable for that but also am be able to head off to brunch or for drinks straight after. Currently, I've already ordered the star print trainers (such a great dupe of the Saint Laurent ones!) and will be adding more pieces from these picks super soon!

Berlin Fashion Week

So about a week ago I was invited by the Blogger Apartment to attend Berlin Fashion Week. I've only attended LFW in the pass so thought it would be a great opportunity to travel and experience other fashion weeks. It was definitely smaller than LFW and a bit more intimate to my surprise. I ended up with three full days in Berlin and stayed in an apartment with other bloggers. It was such a great way to socialised and get to know the girls a little better. It's such a different social environment for me and I was feeling a bit nervous but it was really fun that I just forgot about it all. One thing for sure, it was super cold and I can't believe at some of the girls going out in skirts and no tights?!

We ended up attending Zadak, Lena Hoschek, Rebecca Ruetz, Kilian Kerner, Stein Rohner, Philomela Zanetti and Zukker. Such beautiful collections and I was so delighted to be able to attend the shows with all the other girls and guys! I also ran into my girl Nyane and of course had to snap up a selfie with her!

Just wanted to say a major thanks to the girls Samah and Lori for inviting me to experience Berlin Fashion week - I really couldn't thank you girls enough. Also thank you to the sponsors that provided the apartment with food and goodies! Especially Even & Odd who supplied us with some clothing to wear to the shows!
