So you guys know I love my matte lipsticks right? So you can imagine my excitement when YSL bought out another round of there mattes shades ready for Spring/Summer! (insert hands up emoji)
I thought I would share with you guys the shades and share why I love the lipsticks!

So I received these gorgeous five shades. Two were nudes, one was more of a pink, another a red and one which was an incredible fuchsia colour. They are so perfect for Spring/Summer as I tend to dress in more earthy tones and wear a lot of khaki pieces. As I've shown above, all shades go so well with my khaki shirt! With the colours, I find that it compliments my skin tone really well and that the colour stays true to itself even after application on the lips. With the lipsticks being so creamy, it just glides right on and if you make a mistake, correcting it with a cotton bud is super easy as it doesn't stain the minute you apply it. I just love how wearable the shades are!

What I love about these mattes are even though it is a matte lipstick - it's still hydrating and doesn't dry out the lips. I actually ended up wearing the shade '218' out for a day of exploring museums and it really did stay on till dinner when I decided to change it up for a more fun look. I ended up wearing shade '215' to dinner! I also love how subtle and rich the shades are. I'm not a huge fan on shades which will make me look like a doll but these blend in so well with my natural lip colour - it's a perfect custom shade for each person. I can't wait to wear '214', '216' and '217' out for date night. It's not too over powering and would be great to create a romantic make up look with.

These lipsticks are such a great addition to my lipstick collection and one that is super nourishing that I don't have to worry about topping up with lip balm during the day.

I'm looking forward to creating more looks with these shades and can't wait to keep you guys updated on what I do end up creating. Keep an eye out for sure! You can also get your hands on one (or two!) by clicking HERE

Shooting with Converse

So a couple of months ago I did a shoot with Converse! It's been so hard for me to keep it to myself and now I can finally share the news with you guys! I'm part of the new campaign with OFFICE shoes and Converse! It's for their release of their new trainers - the 'Gemma'. Which is more thinner and has a pointier shoe. They look super sleek and chic and are still so comfy. I wore mine on set all day. It was such a fun day shooting with the team, Alice and Millicent!
We got to choose and style out own outfits and I wore pretty much my own pieces from my wardrobe.

The shoe will be released tomorrow on the OFFICE site and in store. They are exclusive to OFFICE only so you won't be able to get them anywhere else. Keep an eye out for me in store too! You can also see the vlog of the shoot here too!

The Canadian tux with LUISAVIAROMA

So for this post I have collaborated with LUISAVIAROMA to bring you another favourite combination of mine 'The Canadian tux'. I love how this look is a bit different than my other double denim ones as I've added in some more luxury items to make this look more chic. LUISAVIAROMA has been on my radar for the past year and I love browsing through their new in section to see what piece I should invest in next. I also love the fact that they offer free shipping and returns.

I've opted for something a little bit different for this combination this time. Instead of a short cropped jacket, I found this amazing Helmut Lang denim trench coat and thought that it was so unique that I definitely need to style it up. Just paired it with a basic pair of denim washed skinnies, classic white tee and of course my white trainers. To add a bit of colour to this outfit I've also gone for this Givenchy clutch in red. Normally I would go with black but there's just something about the red that drew me to it and I can't wait to style it for summer. It also matches with my nails and lips! Kept my jewellery and hair minimal too to really focus on the outfit.

Let me know your thoughts on this outfit below!

Grand Central market

So last Tuesday I ended back up in LA with Visit California! We were going to explore a bit more of LA and headed straight to grand Central Market. I've actually never been to GCM and I'll definitely be heading back next time I'm in town.

If you've never heard of this place, it's a mixture of an indoor open market where you can pick up your groceries and also grab some food! We headed there during breakfast time so I grabbed an ice chai latte from G&B coffee and a chocolate chip cookie. One of the best chai lattes I've had too! It was just the perfect spiciness and lightness to it. Highly recommend those guys if you are looking for coffee! Can't wait to head back and try out more of the food that's available there.

You can find out more about Grand Central Market HERE
Keep an eye out for more of my trip!

This is such a long overdue post on one of my favourite places to eat in LA. Don't worry, there will be more to come! Commissary is set in a beautiful big green house on the 2nd floor at the Line hotel. Even before I was staying at the Line I would wonder down and go for breakfast. These images were taken from my trip back in November where I went with Oli.

Since we were staying at the hotel we ended up here most mornings as it was just a few floors below us. The vibe is pretty easy going, a fusion of Korean inspired dishes are throne in there too. My favourite dish to have there is the congee and the pancakes! Highly recommend them as I ended up having those a few times. But everything else is also delicious.

I also love that the mugs and glasses you are served with are all mix of vintage pieces and hand crafted ones. Makes you feel right at home or at granny's house. Not only is it pretty in the day time, I also reccomend going at night time. The fairy lights create such a warming atmosphere and it's a great place for dinner with friends. All the food is served family style which is lovely and different than to what I usually experience here in the UK. You get to sample so much food and when it comes to splitting the bill - it couldn't be any more simpler!

Let me know if you guys are visiting LA any time soon! I will definitely be posting more LA hot spot recommendations soon as I'm off back there rather soon!
