The green suit

Topshop suit | Lamoda UK loafers | Zara polo sweater | Missguided roll clutch

----------------------------------

Finally my beautiful forest green suit arrived from Topshop & I can not express how much I love it. It came as a little surprise as I found out the trousers are actually high waisted, anything high waisted is just a massive tick in my books and I just was then filled with excitement. I could wear cropped tees or sweaters with it & it would look amazing.

I decided to firstly pair this with a vintage printed tee, but it didn't do the suit any justice so opted for my grey ribbed Zara polo neck. I love the contrast of the colours together and the textures mixing together. It ended up creating such a lux outfit which is perfect for a meeting or a dinner in the evening. I think I'll be wearing something like this to the next fashion week (permitting the weather is ok and not too extreme) as I'm so in love with this tailored style.

I didn't wanna smarten this up anymore so opted for my trusty loafers which I've worn to death over the summer. Keeping it classic and making it a bit more casual.

I had so much with this outfit and fell in love with it so much that I didn't really wanna take it off.

Astrid & Miyu secret box

So this month I received an email from Astrid & Miyu (who I love dearly & have mentioned them before on my blog & youtube videos) asking me if I wanted to try out their secret boxes! I thought it was such a cool idea that I wanted to share this with you guys. I also think that it could interest you just in time for Christmas!

Disclaimer - They have not asked me to write a blog post etc but just for me to personally review the box, but as I love it so much I thought you guys would like to know about it too!

These boxes are perfect as a gift to someone else or even to yourself! They come around every 3 months with  subscription fee of £39 but with free delivery! This box though however only is available in the UK & EU at the moment. With the £39, you get yourself Astrid & Miyu jewellery and merchandise which are hand picked by the team. What I love about Astrid & Miyu jewellery is the minimal designs and the quality of them. I wear my 'B' initial one almost everyday and it has lasted me so long and it goes with everything that I wear. If you want to invest in good quality minimal pieces then I really recommend these guys!

So in this box, I received this cute set of a dainty heart necklace and a moon bracelet. I especially love how they are rose gold too, which is my favourite. They also surprised me with a maroon lea the card holder! I've been needing one for a while now & this was a perfect little gift to include in the box!

You can also have a look on the site for other beautiful bits including midi rings, bracelets and earrings!

Look out for further photos of my wearing my Astid & Miyu jewellery too!

Big night out with Urban Outfitters!

I have collaborated again with Urban Outfitters to bring you guy 2 looks perfect for a great night out!
I often get asked what outfit I would pair together to go on either a dinner date, blogger event or a birthday party. So I thought doing this post was pretty good timing with all the festive and party season coming into gear.

For the first outfit, you can never go wrong with a jumpsuit. It's pretty much already 50% completed of an outfit right there! I love how you can just throw it on and just choose accessories and you're good to go!I paired my jumpsuit with my fave duster coat, comfy heels and my cute fur ball bag which I've included in past posts before. I love this little guy, you can fit all your essentials in and not go out with some huge clutch or ask your friends if you can put your lipstick in their purse.

Accessories really do make an outfit, so having that little fur ball bag as my main one, I opted for really simple jewellery - my silver choker. I've worn it back wards though which just makes it a little different. Painted on some red for my nails & kept my make up pretty neutral toned, nothing too out there. Hair, is also my bed hair, just gave it a spritz of texturising spray.

For a different option, outfit two consist of lace and overlay. It's a bit more feminine and more laid back. I am wearing this cute eyelash lace slip dress underneath and layered on this extra long chiffon t shirt to create this make shift midi dress. I'm really into layering see through materials over anything lately and this is perfect for a slightly more sexy and sleek look. Again, I've paired it with my comfy heels and using this textured clutch to hold all my little essentials. Of course, when I'm out with Oli as well, he asks if he can put his car keys and wallet in my bag so this clutch is the perfect size to fit everything you need and a little extras.

With jewellery, I really kept to one piece, a simple gold chain. You can however, add in statement necklaces or bracelets, layer on the rings... Get creative and see what you guys can come up with! This second outfit I was aiming for a bit more of a dinner date and drinks so kept it very minimal.

Awesome news also guys, you can bag yourself £250 to spend at Urban Outfitters! Click here to find out how! #UONIGHTOWLS

Party ready with H&M!

So as the party season is upon us, you will deffinatey be seeing more 'party wear' posts. I wanted to kick it off with H&M! This is my last collaboration post with them and wanted to show you guys how I picked an outfit perfect for an event that could also be worn casually during the day time!

This time around, I went with faux fur, layers and mesh materials. I wanted to add a bit more texture than I normally would. I chose this plain black midi dress, then spotted this beautiful mesh overlay dress that would be perfect to layer on top! This creates a 'fairytale' like to the outfit which I love and if you don't wear much colour like me, this still surely adds something a little different to the outfit. Playing around with texture is perfect for the party season as you can experiment and it surely makes an outfit more luxurious.

I also decided to pair this faux fur vest with the dress I created already. Just adds warmth and mixing in different lengths to create a silhouette that suits you. Of course, you can opt for a leather vest or even a maxi cardigan, play around with whatever you find comfortable.

What I love about this is that each individual piece can then be worn separately on another occasion and can be made to dress up or dress down. You can even wear the faux fur vest over your biker jacket for a casual lunch date. Or for another event you can mix and change up the accessories to create a whole new vibe to the look.

All the pieces I'm wearing are available in H&M now so go check them out!

Birthday round up

I wanted to go into my birthday this year with an open mind and an open heart. I found out that this is the best way to approach anything. Thats how I went forward with my LA trip and it turned out to be the best one.

Turning 20 didn't really hit me till a few days before. The though of going into a new decade of my life did frighten me a tad but again, you just have to be just chill about it. Think of it this way, you made it to 20. Or the more depressing way... You're half way to 40 already.

I think my mind was mentally ready to enter 20, having made blogging and youtube my career path, it has made me grow in so many ways that I wasn't expecting. It's bought a side out of me that's like 'Oh yeah! I can totally do this and great!'. My body however, is still in a 14 year olds stage and I have finally come to the term that I'm not going to grow anymore, but thats ok. I'm at a stage in my life where I feel comfortable and know how to love my body. Just can't believe it took me this long to do so. I think the main part is that I have a partner who also loves my body and appreciates it and doesn't want me to change or fix something I don't need to as I grow older.

Talking about Oliver, he has done super well with my presents this year. A birthday haul video will definitely follow and I might even do a blog post if I have the time! He got me my dream ring from The Great Frog london (featured in photo 1), the WANG X H&M sweater, perfume and lipstick from Lipstick Queen! I couldn't of been more happier. This year has totally been the year where I had received the most presents ever and that everything really worked out. I surrounded myself with the most loveliest of people and the best company I could ever ask for.

I first went to SKETCH london, and oh my golly gosh! It was magical! You were just transported into a whole different world that I never knew existed in London! Me & my friend went for a quick afternoon tea then I had to dash over to a shoot with Bryant Lee! You can view the photos in my previous post! It was so lovely shooting with Bryant and I also met Zoe! They were so lovely I had to invite them to my dinner in the evening. Quickly after that, a stop by my tattoo studio for a little painful treat! I opted for a bumblebee and a 'cross-fingered' hand. I love them both! Little editions to add to my sleeve as it's coming along nicely!

Ended the night at Central & Co with the best cocktail I've ever tasted! If you guys go in there, you have got to try the 'Elder club'. It's a mixture of gin, elder flower and lemon and something else that was magical. Seriously couldn't ask for a better day. I hope my 21st birthday would be as amazing as this one has been. Just have to remember not to stress about it and just go with the flow!

That winter chill

Coat - Topshop | Shoes - Choies | Jeans - Topshop | Bag - Saint Laurent dupe
Turtle neck - Zara | Ring - The great frog

Captured by Bryant Lee

---------------------------------------

So this outfit was shot by the amazing Bryant Lee! I'm still in shock over how amazing these photos are! Thank you so much Bryant for capturing this outfit on my birthday!

Since I was going to be walking around London quite a lot, I opted for something really cosy, comfy but still chic. I ordered this coat from Topshop a couple of days ago and thank god it arrived in time for birthday. It's not as soft as I imagined it to be but still cosy and kept me warm through out the day.  As for the turtle neck, well... I actually bought it on the morning of, as I headed to breakfast with my oldest friend, I was wearing my vintage panther t shirt which just wouldn't kept me warm enough so a quick trip into Zara was needed! For only £20, this is the best polo neck ever. The quality on the touch, colour and texture just ticked all the right boxes.

With the colour pallette still pretty neutral, I just opted for my black Chloe dupe boots, a perfect hint of gold embellishment to complete my outfit. It also fitted the detail on the bag too.

I legit just had the best birthday celebration this year and couldn't ask for a more awesome way to celebrate and enter my 20's! Thank you everyone who made it special and who messaged me a happy birthday too!
